I haven't REALLY wanted something for quite some time, but every once in a while something comes along, grabs you by the junkyard and wont let go. I give you the RED Scarlet.

At a 3k resolution, this baby can record video that's almost 3 times the resolution of HD! (2.78 to be more precise)
I'll just let that sink in.
Now here's the kicker: This little hottie, and I do mean little, will retail for less than $3000!
that may sound like a lot, but think of it this way, a Panasonic DVX100/100b can go for nearly $2000 brand new and with that (still a nice camera) you can only shoot at 480 lines of res.

Call me a technophile if you will, but this thing is freaking hot!
